A PORTRAIT OF EBE.
A project about a person who has been challenged by concepts around gender. A person who has accepted their own and others’ places on the gender spectrum. A person who has been stopped in the street and asked: “what are you?” There are deep conversations to be had about gender, toxic masculinity and the road to acceptance yet to travel. As wild as it seems, we are yet to arrive.
Thank you Ebe, for your honesty and beauty. And for opening my eyes to many things I had not yet considered, the concept of gender has a long road ahead and I am so very grateful for you, as should the world be. Love you.
Shot on a mix of film and digital.
